Two Political Parties Join Jokowi Support Lobby Result 'Gotong Royong'

binjaiipnu news Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Secretary General of PDI Perjuangan Hasto Kristiyanto said there would be two political parties that joined the coalition of President Joko Widodo.
The joining of these two political parties, Hasto said, is the result of lobbying by the general chairpersons of political parties outside the PDI-P.
Previously, the chairman of PPP Romahurmuziy said there would be two political parties that docked to the coalition of Jokowi in the 2019 presidential election this month.
"As a squadron for the people, we are doing political lobbying so that what Mr. Rommy does is part of working together and mutual cooperation for Mr. Jokowi," Hasto said at the office of DPP PDIP, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Sunday (8 / 4).
In addition to Romahurmuziy, Hasto said Hanura Oesman Sapta Odang, Chairman of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto, and Chairman of NasDem Surya Paloh also lobbied.
Even so, Hasto is still reluctant to reveal the two political parties that will participate carry Jokowi in the 2019 presidential election. He only said that PDIP will visit the office of DPP PKB next Tuesday (10/4).
The visit, said Hasto, is a continuation of the PDIP which previously had a dialogue with the Chairman of the PKB, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin.
"We discuss about leadership narratives in the future leadership for the people," added Hasto.
Separately, Chairman of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto welcomed the news of two political parties will also carry Jokowi. According to him, more support will be very profitable.
"Of course more and more means the power in parliament will increase," he said.
Like Hasto, Airlangga is also reluctant to disclose two political parties that will join the coalition.
Romahurmuziy previously said that there are two political parties that will carry President Joko Widodo in the 2019 presidential election. The two political parties will add to the coalition's strength, previously filled by PDIP, Golkar, NasDem, Hanura, Perindo, PSI and PPP.
According to Romi, one of the parties will make a declaration of support to Jokowi in the near future.
"But the support of one of the parties is still conditional on taking his cadre as his vice presidential candidate, Mr. Jokowi," he said, Friday (6/4).
PPP said Romi, welcomes any support from any political party, because it will increase the power of the winning troops Jokowi.
"The issue of vice president, let it be later if it is certain who the coalition party new party discussed with pak Jokowi after elections simultaneously June 27, 2018," he said. (gil)
